Who we are
TecizEverything (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates https://tecizeverything.com. For personal information collected through this website, we are the data controller. Our head office is at 62 Deansgate, Bolton, BL1 1BG, United Kingdom, and you can reach us at info@tecizeverything.com.
This policy covers this website only. Our software products, such as Receivo and VodaBook, have their own privacy policies, which apply when you use them.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. When you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address, and, if you provide them, your phone number, company name, the topic of your enquiry, a budget range and the content of your message. When you send a project brief through the Start Building flow, we also receive the answers you chose to give, for example your goal, the challenge, who would use the system, the systems you use today, the outcome you want, scale, timeline and budget range.
- What you type into the project console. When you describe your idea in the “What are you trying to build?” console, the “Ask anything” field or the Start Building flow, the text is sent to our server and passed to Google’s Gemini AI service to prepare the analysis shown to you. If Gemini is unavailable, it is passed instead through OpenRouter, an AI routing service, to another AI model provider. We do not store that text or link it to you, but these services may log or retain it under their own terms, and Google may use it to improve its products. If the analysis service is unavailable, a simpler analysis runs in your own browser and nothing is sent. Please do not include personal or confidential information in your description. The text reaches our team only if you choose to send it as part of a brief or message.
- Technical information. Our hosting provider records standard server data, including IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request. To prevent spam and abuse, our forms keep a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address with the times of recent submissions, for a few minutes only.
We do not currently use analytics or advertising services on this website. We do not ask for payment details, and we do not knowingly collect special category data (such as health or biometric data) through this website.
How we use it, and our legal basis
- To reply to your enquiry or project brief and, if you ask, to prepare a proposal. Basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
- To operate, secure and improve this website, and to prevent spam and abuse. Basis: our legitimate interest in running a safe, working website.
- To comply with legal obligations. Basis: legal obligation.
We do not sell or rent personal information, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not add you to marketing lists because you contacted us. The project console gives an automated reading of your idea, but we make no decision about you based solely on automated processing that has a legal or similarly significant effect on you.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run this website, and only as far as needed: our hosting and email provider (which hosts the site and delivers form messages to us), Google (whose Gemini service powers the project console), and OpenRouter and the AI model providers it routes to (used when Gemini is unavailable). We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our users or the public.
International transfers
Some of these providers, including Google, OpenRouter and AI model providers, are based in or process data in the United States and other countries outside the UK and the European Economic Area. Where UK or EU data protection law applies, such transfers rely on the safeguards those laws recognise, such as adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and project briefs for as long as needed to handle them, and for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a client, in which case we keep records for as long as our agreement and the law require. Spam protection data is kept for minutes. Server logs are kept for a short rolling period set by our hosting provider.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw any consent you gave. To use any of these rights, email info@tecizeverything.com. We will reply within one month. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority. In the UK, that is the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk). We would appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first.
Cookies and browser storage
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. It uses your browser’s session storage only to remember, for the current visit, whether you have already seen the opening animation. That information never leaves your device and is cleared when you close the tab. If we add analytics or any non-essential cookies in future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
Children
This website is intended for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, so form submissions are encrypted in transit, and we apply security measures such as strict browser security policies and limited access to the data we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date at the top. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
